Changes to car parking at Derby

There will be some temporary changes to how customers will pay for parking at Derby station.

Zone 1 (North) Car Park
From the Monday 2nd July until Sunday 29th July, the car park will be a Pay and Display zone. Customers can pay for a ticket in the following ways:

1) Download the RingGo app from the Google Play/ Apple Store location code for Zone 1 is 23330

2) At the current parking machines before you travel, located in the car park. Tickets must be displayed clearly in the car windscreen

3) At the ticket office, then display the ticket in the car windscreen

4) Car Park Season ticket holders will need to display a valid ticket clearly in the windscreen

From Monday 30th July at 01:30 until Monday 15th, 01:30 October Zone 1 car park will not be available for customer use. Alternative parking is available in Zone 2 or 3 car park.

Zone 2 (Pride Park) Car Park
From Monday 30th July at 01:30, we will open a temporary entrance to Zone 2 car park. As a result, the car park will be a temporary Pay and Display car park until Monday 15th October. Customers can pay for a ticket in the following ways:

1) Download the RingGo app from the Google Play/ Apple Store location code for Zone 2 is 23331

2) At the current parking machines before you travel located in Pride Park concourse. Tickets must be displayed clearly in the car windscreen.

3) At the ticket office, then display the ticket in the car windscreen

4) Car Park Season ticket holders will need to display a valid ticket clearly in the windscreen

Zone 3 (South) Car Park
This car park is unaffected; however, we have increased the number of spaces by 80 until 30th September

Derby station Car Park season ticket holders
Season Ticket holders may use other East Midlands station car park without further charge; however, they must display a valid Derby season ticket in the car windscreen.

Sunday 22nd July to Sunday 7th October

There will be changes to services to, from and through Derby station while the Derby Resignalling project takes place.

Line to Crewe

No train services between Derby and Uttoxter between 22nd July and 2nd September. An enhanced replacement bus and coach service will operate between these stations. 

Line to Matlock

No train services between Derby and Matlock between 25th August and 7th October. An enhanced replacement bus and coach service will operate between these stations. 

Line to Nottingham

No train services between Derby and Nottingham between 30th July and 2nd September. An enhanced replacement bus and coach service will operate between these stations. 

Line to Chesterfield and Sheffield

No direct train services between Derby and Chesterfield between 30th July and 2nd September. An enhanced bus and coach service will operate between Derby and Chesterfield. 

Line to London

One train per hour will start/terminate at Derby between 30th July and 7th October, compared to the usual two trains per hour (however the two trains per hour usually start and terminate at Sheffield).

Monday 13th to Sunday 19th August - no trains between Derby and London St Pancras International. An enhanced coach replacement service will run between Derby and East Midlands Parkway for connections to and from London.

On this day only, there will be no trains to or from Derby station. 

A bus and coach replacement service will be in operation to and from all locations.
